| The ABC TV drama Cashmere Mafia may well get tommy-gunned down if the writers strike in Hollywood continues. Lucy Liu is set to be one of the main leads in this women of Wall Street type drama that follows 4 powerful college grad women who were bosom buddies in college and are now hitting their stride in the high-powered corporate world where they are outpacing and outearning the men around them.
Lucy has already come under fire once again for being the token for some White man on the TV series. -_- Ouch. LOL! All we need is John Lennon's Instant Karma song or something like that. I honestly believe if Asian Americans could legally, publically, stone someone... it might actually be Lucy Liu. I stomached a preview of this sitcom and then immediately ran to the men's room to puke. Yes, I was that disgusted by it. A few bottles of stomach reliever later, I simply hoped that it would challenge Lucy to portray a role that she still has NOT DONE. A man can hope, can't he? Can't I? LOL! |

| | Let's see... Lucy Liu attacked her fans in early December, along with photographers. Her TV show Cashmere Mafia had its preview shown on Sunday and it did not perform anywhere near as well as they'd hoped. Critics have called it crap, for the most part. To try to salvage the ship, they re-aired the pilot yesterday up against Law and Order, which even to a non-TV watcher like me, is just plain ole suicide. This may be the end for Lucy. Stay tuned... And yes I am serious she attacked fans and photographers in Miami in early December... |

| Its 2 am EST here! I should be sleep but I am working on my book, which may or may not create an opportunity in the furture for Lucy Liu.
Hello Fumi! Well, as far as Lucy's rampage through the Miami airport, she gave two photographers open palm strikes to the chest, which wasn't very nice! But then she barged through a crowd of her own fans that were trying to tell her how much they adored her. Since I have had the fun of sending in work to her Management team, I can say from my one time experience that she is not a very easy person to talk to because of the layer of people that she surrounds herself with, but!?!? I have also found out that this is also the primary reason why she has had nothing but really really really BAD shows, in movies and TV, since Kill Bill!
Momoko you are also very correct! People there said it was just like when Bjork freaked out! Mind you Lucy, after seeing the crowd of fans and photographers. Initially went back into the entry way for arrivals. Then after a few minutes she came back out and she just started shoving people and being rude! From what has been said, the photographers there were NOT being rude to her, nor were they being pushy. She simply snapped as soon as she saw them and started jumping up in their faces and shoving them aside! She got into a shouting and swearing match with the biggest photographer there and she tossed some swear words even at her fans as she shoved them all aside.
Very ungrateful, but I already know what is at the heart of it. She is a very lonely woman. She's even been caught up on a millionaires singles dating WEBSITE! Which is NOT GOOD. From everything that I learned when I wrote Walking Dead, she has not been very happy in her love life and she has had a lot of issues go on where it is clear that no matter how she tries to say "I feel secure in who I am." Her behavior keeps showing that she is not. She was also on the David Lettermen show just a few days ago and even their conversation was, awkward. She's also not getting any younger and I have always had the impression that she wants a husband and kids, badly! But simply put, she just doesn't have what it takes to either attract a good man, or honestly find one. And her show Cashmere Mafia has so far, been a bomb, which has not shocked me at all. I am seriously thinking that her career may be over... |

| | Lucy Liu's new drama, Cashmere Mafia is sinking fast. After a bad opening it has since dropped like a rock! Hopefully she will not attack anyone to vent her continued bad streak of shows and movies since Kill Bill... |

| With Cashmere Mafia's demise, Lucy Liu shall Rise! LOL! See, Rise was another one of her questionable movies within the last few years. Either way, Lucy is now on the TV show;
Dirty, Sexy, Money.
She plays a lawyer and will probably get in and out of bed with a number of the characters on the show. I have no intentions of watching the show personally.
In other news, just saw her in Watching the Detectives. |

| Pretty much. I have seen much of Lucy Liu's career for me to write what I did last year and frankly they have not challenged her at all. Her breakout role in Ally McBeal was a lawyer role of Ling Woo, where even today when I talk to people they figure out quickly that the role she auditioned for was nowhere near the role she got.
Everybody has their own fantasies and fetishes, but when you talk about career choices that involve public opinion, then you have to be mindful of that, as well as careful. Lucy Liu's career has been dominated mostly by her looks. She has never had a serious role with any kind of Oscar caliber substance to it and so she has had to live primarily off of fluff. Well, with age, goes looks, sometimes dramtically so, but with age? Personality and substance never fade away. So when you have that, plus you have the looks, then as life takes its toll, you are not pushed into taking roles that are hollow and empty. Too many of Lucy's roles are hollow and empty and it is because many do not believe that she has the ability to carry a serious role. Also, she is not exactly very good at picking her projects. I root for her, but I'm certainly not gonna turn a blind-eye to the truth.
I will not be watching Dirty, Sexy, Money, because I have already seen Lucy Liu play this "type-of-role" for the majority of her acting career. |

| Hello BC!!!!
Yeah, I hear ya! TV shows today are mostly just round-and-round with a build-up to nowhere. A movie has to get to its point within your lifetime or suffer the consequences of bad word of mouth and negative publicity early on.
I have noticed that many of Lucy Liu's projects, where she is the central female or lead, tend to not get put out to the public or in VERY limited release, like Rise Blood Hunter. It was only shown in 5 cities and only made about $100,000 in the box office, ouch! |
