Kagen no tsuki

Hello,

today is a poor day for Kagen no tsuki. I used to say outside that we are proud to have never been in the situation to throw a member out of our board. this was true until this morning.

some of us, especially +Fumi and Sakura have been victim of the usual but deplorable method of personal attack. we are a small but coherent community and will not accept to see one of us being attacked this way.

Hi, best chemistry! This is first time I have heard about name change. Is there some reason to change? Kagen no tsuki is kind of mystical name, I like it personally, but I like the site more that any name.

not all are in heavy therapy like our dearest Fumiko, but all have private lifes. for some reason, people are all busy at the same time, making our project being so fluctuant. there are some calm periods, never mind about them.

In the following days, people will see some significant changes on our board. We have been rushed by time and not have been able to finalize these things in time for our second birthday online (who was two day earlier).

Change 1 is : English language only.
Already posted french text will be translated.

Change 2 is : Gateway to two allied board.
One english and one french.
English gateway will be Prisoner701's board Cinema Tonic.
French gateway will probably be the Something Secret board.

Change 3 is : Segmentation.
Obviously, it is not possible to make coexisting teens interest
and adult entertainment in the same board.

How will work these gateways?
This is still under the scope of some studies, but external contacts have been done.

I just realized I lost my Friends of KnT ranking, who did it and why? I spend most of my time writing and working and I have been with this site practically from day one. Whomever took away my KnT ranking WITHOUT TELLING ME, be kind enough to put it back.

As for the name change I think the name and the forum topics are fine. Whenever I am on-line and go anywhere on-line I always mention KnT and Best Chemistry. And I still have not gotten my earlier issue addressed regarding the blockage of copying text from this site, yet another reason why I have not been nearly as active as I was here. The site is for adults and I'm well aware of why it was set-up to block people from being able to copy text. It stems from the argument I had with Fumi. The times that I have had available and I simply want to post info that I leave from here to either OP9, the Chiaki Kuriyama Fandom or a few other sites? If I post something here, I can't simply copy and paste it elsewhere because this site is setup to block copying of text, which is childish. If the language is harsh to some it is because I have brought this up 2 times already and been summarily ignored both times.

Because I generally avoid certain areas I only just now saw the situation that took place with Dummy. One person had it right, Dummy was a problem before and should have been either banned or told up front that he needed to change his behavior, however? After looking at what he did THIS TIME, his comments were crass, tasteless at best, but certainly not worthy of being banned, as far as the fact that he stated that they what the actresses did in the Edison Chen fiasco.

Its the reply right after his crass statement that actually triggered his attack because although his statement was brutally honest, it was NOT DIRECTED AT ANYONE. It simply talked about what ACTUALLY HAPPENED. And the reality is that the Edison Chen Fiasco blew the doors off of the double-lifestyle that is dominant in East Asian society and America when people try to play up an IMAGE of being SQUEEKY CLEAN AND I NEVER DO THOSE DIRTY-DIRTY THINGS! Such as have sex with someone who has a rep for being a stud. Chen is Canadian born Chinese, NOT NATIVE BORN. That was part of the reason why he gained such a rep for being a playboy. Native born East Asian men have their share of macho bravado, etc, but the society states explicitly where certain boundaries are.

It is no different than what Miley Cyris (Hannah Montana) just found out from the photo-shoots she did. To me I knew the photo's were gonna cause a scandal because of her age. AND, because her target audience is underage teeny-boopers. Her employer, Nickelodeon, is geared towards clean-cut family entertainment, so Miley showing her bareback when her audience and employer and image are geared towards presenting the fresh naive and wholesome "Girl Next Door", is gonna cause problems!

That is ENTIRELY DIFFERENT than grown Gillian Chung and everyone else who had sex with Chen. So you have grown women putting forward images and talking about how pristine clean they are to the point that they become bound and gagged slaves to their IMAGE. This ties directly into what started the argument with Fumi because anyone who ties themselves so completely to an image ceases to be a human being and becomes a prisoner in their own life. How many people here have done what was asked or told of them, even when they didn't want to do it? And the reasons why they are complying have nothing to do with anything more than kowtowing to an image or perception of society or circumstance, FEAR. That if you speak up then you will lose whatever it is that you are clinging to so tightly that you'd rather live a lie or go along with the flow instead of admit that you've given up too much of yourself.

Those women had sex with Chen because he was good in bed, PERIOD! They candidly proved what every man knows but generally will not say, women will cheat just as much as a man will, or turn to sex for release if they think the payoff, the sex, IS WORTH IT! When you factor in that many of the women are constrained in some way, shape, or form within their society and/or within the money-making IMAGE that they created and never let go off. How many more women that aren't superstar entertainers, are turning elsewhere for satisfication when they can't express themselves without fear of reprisal or hassle. These women made their own choices, but society most certainly didn't help them. I'd like to point out that this same type of constraining situation was behind the death of Korean singer Yuni.

She couldn't deal with faking her way through songs in public while personally she couldn't even get a simple answer on why her father had abandoned her and why she had to live with her grandmother. Everybody shushed her up and shut her up and refused to even listen to what she had to say, so she shut down. It's a primary reason why her second album was so bad and took so long, she couldn't fake her way through another album when she was hurting over the fact that her father had rejected her and nobody wanted to tell her why. She started breaking down at live concerts trying to talk to her fans about it in the middle of sets! Absolutely unforgivable for someone to be left so far out on an island that they have to turn to a crowd of fans because Korean "society says" or Japanese society says or American society says you just have to deal with it.

Certain things? Most definitely, you most certainly MUST deal with certain situations whether you like it or not, but issues that close to the vest and that personal? Where the society itself looks down on you because you don't know where your father is? Don't know why he left? And you're supposedly a "celebrity" but can't get any answers from your family, your "handlers", etc? In the end she killed herself early last year because she couldn't keep living a lie through her fake smiley-faced image that they kept trying to cram down her throat. Her grandmother admitted that she knew Yuni was depressed, but she never thought she would kill herself. In that same breath she admitted that Yuni had been troubled by this for a long time, but she somehow believed, as far as her grandmother, that NOT telling her what really went on would be better.

There comes a time when a person has to let go of false images and things that bind them up and ties them down so that they cannot grow as a person. Some of the women in the Sex Scandal already had proven to be unfaithful before, others were simply involved solely because Chen wasn't native Chinese and they expected him to be discreet. Till he busted up his laptop and then took it in for repairs, he was. So Dummy's crude statement was correct. The women slept with him because he was good in bed, nothing more and nothing less. And it was Vanessa Williams who lost her crown because she did nude photos that got published in Playboy, sorry, it was Penthouse. And it violated pagent rules, so she was stripped of her crown, but that isn't even the actual facts of the matter, she resigned under pressure. But Vanessa then took that bad incident and turned it into fuel for her career. At that time she would have been the first Black Miss America ever and many Black Americans disliked the fact that it was well known that she never authorized the pics to be sold by anyone and it was a photographer that put her up to doing the pics claiming to be trying something new to spruce up the photo-shoot. And you might want to add the fact that she was getting death threats solely because she was Black and was clearly going to win the pagent. Here is the information on...

I don't visit here as frequently as I did but whenever I stop by here you certainly know when I was here, I don't deserve to be handicapped because of childish insecurities, especially since you invited me to this site personally Best Chemistry when you started it. HA-HA-HA! I forgot, to post the url link I would have to PASTE IT IN or type EVERY LAST WORD IN. Never realized how constraining things had become here. I'd like for this to be addressed ASAP, especially since I have brought it up twice before. If it isn't, then fine, I certainly won't bring it up a 4th time, but it will unfortunately send the absolute wrong message about the nature of this board and how drastically it has changed and not for the better. You can't hold discussions when you don't have access to all the options on the board.

I say Kawaii, Best Chemistry and +Fumi are doing their best to make this board being active and being different from outside. Lot of work every day. No board is perfect.
