I've seen some pictures like that lately but have not took one in time. this one is cool, but there is something missing, Tsunku appears nowhere.

That's truth right there coz many people who have seemed wrong or off somehow and have immediately disliked him confused

I haven't seen you for a long time. Goto Maki here.

Regarding myself, moreover, the matter with my younger brother, I'm sorry to make you worry and for multiplying the trouble. Although I was worried about many things, the decision to make one new step forward was made.

Even though I don't understand what's behind the horizon, and even if this step could be coming too late, I want to keep persisting and heading toward my dream.

I'd like to come out in front of everyone with a smile... I've been holding out in earnest, without forgetting what it is to be Goto Maki. If you could, please keep on supporting me.

It's all of a sudden, but... To tell the truth, I've come to L.A. now!!
Although I actually arrived here several days ago... The weather is nice... It's warm... (and that's why) there isn't any pollen around. That's really good!

The town is fairly ordinary and relaxed, it ranks in at #3 of all the places I might want to live in the future :-)
Well, actually, this is my second time in L.A. Since I only spent a night here last time, I haven't really come to understand exactly where I am. (haha)

I'll be here for one month this time. So I hope I will get to learn about nice places around.

Was it yesterday? Today? It seems Tokyo was warm these days.
I wonder, as it was just a little bit chilly in L.A .

Anyway, resuming what I was saying yesterday...(as in, What am I doing in L.A.?) First thing this morning, I went to the gym, I ran, and ran, and ran. LOL! OK, I'll take this seriously.

Then, a krump dance lesson!!!

This one was really risky. I've been living for 22 years, but it's my first time doing this.

BTW, about the krump thing... Since this is also my first time, I cannot explain it pretty well, It's like an angry sensation, like as if you were listening to a big punch, but for those who dance it, that image is totally... wrong...

Anyhow, I'm moving a lot!!!! Such as Ballet, Jazz, and Hip-hop~.
My body is getting strong LOL! Although, I'm not used to seeing girls dancing it, but it's really interesting.

And, yesterday I had voice training,

Tomorrow, I'll have dance lessons.... and I'm supposed to attend a show.

Ah, btw, today, I went to buy a jersey.... It's super cute.
Maybe I'll use it during my lessons!!! It's a pink one!!
I can't get this stuff in Japan..... So the price is worth it.

It's midnight already

Today, I continued with the dance lessons, I cooked, everyday living type of things...

By the way, I have some body pain, my leg hurts so much.
That's probably the reason why I'm not walking normally LOL
Ah! I went to see the show Carnival!!

There were some dancers from Japan who participated in it!! The group performance was only with 18 people, but everyone was really amazing!!
It was a great show.

BTW, it's already midnight.....
That's not good LOL!
Time to sleep.

Today I woke around 9AM, and I had the soup I cooked yesterday, then I got ready, and I went to a certain place. And as I said... "I'm taking dance lessons in L.A." didn't I?! Well. the dance instructor invited me,
so I went to see a music video rehearsal of a singer who is working here in L.A.!

It's like, in Japan I can't do these kinds of things. I'm impressed while I'm writing this... "Wow" After that, I had lessons for ballet, jazz, and hip-hop.
I'm OK with the jazz and the hip-hop lessons, but the ballet one is.... difficult....

Then, I had voice training!!
Her voice...... is awesome.
My instructor pushes me straight on with her strong voice.
One day...... I'll do it, too.

After that, I did some shopping. In the end, it seems I don't like to buy just cute stuff. LOL Ha! From yesterday until today, I couldn't sleep well, so it's time to sleep!

Oh, BTW, I rode this Mini-Go-Round.

Fumi, I cannot be so happy to learn about Maki's investigations in USA. I feel she is running after something she cannot achieve in Japan. I see that like if Japan cannot help Maki to increase her entertainment skills.

A young japanese girl in USA's entertainment system is not serious for me. Maki have not the professionalism that Hikaru Utada have, and that is why Hikaru is a world wide idol. Maki is too young for this experiment.

Hi, kawaii-hime! I agree with you, and Goto is not only too young, I think she does not have established support people in USA like Utada, whose parents live here. But I will say, I admire her for courage and dedication to her goals! although I wish she can be more careful in methods to achieve them.

I miss you so much, here is my idea about this news.
It was evident that Maki was seeking for something special. I've found a recent video (2006) in which Maki perform a stage version of Suki sugite baka mitai with Nozomi Tsuji (ultra cute in short!) and the three girls from Biyuden.
let's say that this song was initialy done for DEF DIVA in which Maki and Rika Ishikawa were members aside Natsumi Abe and Aya Matsuura.

in this video Maki danced like no other girls on stage, a different sharp style you can't see within Hello!Project choregraphies. obviously she's out of the H!P in all sense and wandering on her seek of a true identity. some of her last successful songs and dances are showing her from a different angle, and don't forget her little breast enhancement who was not done to sing Hello Kitty based songs for the next twenty years. there was something else as a plan.

her jump in US don't scare me so much, she's gone to learn some stuff about dance and speach. she didn't take the plane to push Britney Spears away or knock out both Madonna and Christina Aguilera. almost any american don't even know her name today. Mako Goto... who's that ? a new soda ?

we all admit that she is a little bit too young to promote something in western countries, but who knows, there are some good things in her repertory who are hundred time better than some crappy "top ten" here in Europe.

I just found a new (old) stuff from Hello!Project girls TV appearences, and this is a sort of show hosted by Aya Matsuura and Maki Goto turning about hypnotism.

it's a rather short chunk (15 mn) but very funny. on the picture you can see Aya and Maki dressed like sensei and the victim will be Rika Ishikawa, her and her pathological fear of feather beasts like chickens in a cage. in the same vein that I've seen from Utaban and other TV shows, Rika is exposed to bird and her facial expressions and the way she fold her arms and knees are totaly hilarious (sorry Rika) but this is truly fun watching. other victims will be Reina Tanaka, Asami Konno and Mari Yagushi.

that's sort of shows you must pick up in Japan, there is nothing so funny down here in France.

I will agree with you, this interview looks like a sort of official excuse, not the one Ai was forced to give in the rush of being fired by UFA.

she looks good on these pictures, relaxed and smiling, her hair style is good too. I always though that she was fired for nothing and the brutal end of her UFA life doomed Nozomi's career by aftershock.

this is a positive development, I hope some agencies will be on touch to help her becoming a little bit under the spotlights of entertainment, and no more under tabloïd shots.

I'll love to read the other segments, maybe she'll talk about all of her friends she had in H!P and I'm certain she have been supported by most of them, especially Yuko Nakazawa how was so worried when Ai graduate, and of course by Nono, her noisy twin for ever.

what do Tsunku think about that comeback ?

Ai Kago (and new management) started official Kago fanclub called "Biscuit Club." She is also making a blog there. Everyone thinks this is a preview for now, and complete site will open April 10.
