Returning To TV After Two Years
Former Morning Musume Makoto Ogawa!
TV Tokyo's Hello! Morning show on June 8

Makoto Ogawa, age 20, graduated from Morning Musume in 2006 and decided to attend college in New Zealand, but she will make guest appearance on TV Tokyo's Haromoni (Hello! Morning) this show will be telecast Sunday Jun 8, 12:30pm. She will restart her show business career after nearly two years. She says, "I want to work hard so that Mai Satoda doesn't beat me."

She also says that when she was in Morning Musume, she "played the role of the stupid one", but after studying English intensively in New Zealand, she scored 730 on the TOEIC which is important language competency examination. At first, her teacher even said, "Before you start learning English, you need to study Japanese first." During recording, she mixed up her Japanese and English a lot.

The hit Broadway musical "Grease" is being performed in Tokyo later this year, and it was announced on Friday that rising actor Toma Ikuta is playing the lead part of Danny Zuko. His supporting cast includes Sayaka Kanda as his girlfriend Sandy, former Morning Musume member Miki Fujimoto as the Pink Ladies leader Rizzo, and Musical Academy member Tomoyuki Yara as Kenickie. The production opens at the Aoyama Theatre on October 20 and will finish up in Osaka during November.

Resign from Morning Musume and negotiate away from Hello!Project, this is probably best career decision Fujimoto has made in recent years. My opinion, of course opinion is like bellybutton, everyone has.

these are quite interesting news. as you said previously, there is nothing really exciting for the moment in the Mosumu team.

Makoto back on spotlights, that's fine.

It was announced January 26th than Biyuden will disband falling june 2008, after their last concert tour, the Concert Tour 2008 Shoka Biyudensetsu - Saishu Densetsu (already preorderable on cdjapan.co.jp).

There is an annoucement for everyone today.

After the last day of their concert tour in June of this year, Viyuden will be disbanding.

In all the activites done in the past 3 and half years, the three of them have grown each day and were able to build up the next stage within them. After discussing with producer, Tsunku, and with the timing of Okada Yui turning 20, Viyuden activities will end and each will go on to the next step on their own.

Even after Viyuden activities will end, the three of them will continue to do their best on their own as Hello!

This is Tsunku.

Well then, this is an announcement about the 3 girl singing group, Viyuden, that I have personally produced.

I would like to report to all of you that viyuden, consisting of Ishikawa Rika, Miyoshi Erika, and Okada Yui, will end their activities after the final performance of their concert tour in June of this year.

(He first wanted to annouce this to the fans personally, so the annoucement was given during the performance at Yokohama Arena on January 26th.)

Since debuting from Sept. 23, 2004, the girls have done all kinds of entertainment activities.

I think the three of them have cleared what they should have done as a unit.

Starting from last year, we have discussed about what direction the three should take.

In order to build up their talents efficiently, I have thought about utilizing solo activities and the timing of Okada Yui becoming an adult, and decided to end their unit activities. Because the three of them still have a long way to go, I ask of you fans to please continue supporting the girls.

Ishikawa: After the end of our concert tour in June, it has been decided that we will end our activities as Viyuden. Until the last day of the tour in June and without ruining Viyuden's name, beautifully and bravely, I will go out as if throwing a ball with all my power. Thank you for your support everyone.
Miyoshi: I think we have grown thanks to all the activities done in the past 3 and half years as Viyuden. I want to use what we have learned hereafter on our own solo activities. My sadness and anticipation are half and half, but please support us from here on after.
Okada: After Viyuden disbands, as members of Hello! Project, I plan to go on with new feelings. We are really proud to be able to do activities as a group and to be able to meet all the fans. Thank you everyone!!

Ai Takahashi and Risa Niigaki will appear in TV movie!

Ai Takahashi (age 21) & Risa Niigaki (age 19) will portray Pink Lady, a very popular singing duo from late 70s and early 80s. Takahashi will play Mie, and Niigaki will play Kei. The drama is titled Hitmaker Aku Yuu Monogatari, this is the story of the famous lyricist Aku Yuu who passed away last year. Takahashi & Niigaki will perform hit song "Pepper Kaibu" in this drama which will be on NTV in Japan on August 1st.

I just realised Takahashi was 21. A good idea to diversify her job with Niigaki. If they succeed in this TV show, this could be the start of a new carreer. Will really like to see them both \"acting\" not playing Musume attitude. Thanks for sharing.
