| Miki Imai - Biography:*Date of Birth: 14 April 1963
*Place of Birth: Miyazaki
*When in the Tokyo Stewardess Club (1983), she was introduced to a talent scout by a friend. Starting out as a fashion model because of her height and slight frame she quickly branched out into acting and singing. She is now represents the Japanese fashion brand "Kumikyoku".
*1984, she made her debut in the TV drama "Kagayakitaino".
*1986, she got the most valuable rookie award at the Yokohama film festival.
*1987, she appeared in the movie "A la carte Company" playing the lead role.
*She has appeared in the TV dramas "Igai-to-Single Girl", "Omoide-ni-kawarumade" and "Ashita-ga-arukara".
*She is said to have a feminine ambiance with a frank personality.
Her song "Pride" was used in "Doku" which is a drama on Fuji television.
Snooping around for interesting CD’s and DVD’s at low prices I stumbled across the gem Miki Imai / Flow Into Space. Rich, lush instruments back a beautifully pure voice that weaves emotionally taut melodies. The songs are diverse; ranging from sweet Burt Burt Bacharach type croons to more contemporary funk reminiscent of Sade. The songs are always tasteful and restrained. The production is fantastic, with wonderful separation and interplay between the various instruments.
This is not my usual fare, but I really like this album.

| I will search some songs too. real, we have most young singers in this section, some are teens but mature singers are also welcome here.
Ayu and Hikaru Utada are not yet considered as mature singers. |
