Being chinese ethnicity I'm sorta proud being chinese but not proud about chinese government act in Tibet. I was not born when the index was done.

Today, they accuse the Dalai Lama being the ortchestrator of the riots, he never could do that =]

BEIJING (Reuters) - China accused the Dalai Lama on Tuesday of orchestrating Tibetan riots to wreck Beijing's Olympic Games, but the exiled spiritual leader denied the charge and vowed to stand down if the violence spiraled out of control.

The Tibetan government-in-exile said from the Dalai Lama's base in the Indian Himalayan foothills that it now believed 99 people had died in clashes between Chinese authorities and Tibetan over the past week, including 19 on Tuesday alone.

My opinion: this violence to priests and others is very shame to China, this is result when military are rulers of some country. So long as Chinese government does not respect the human life and the human thoughts even if different, this government cannot be respected by civilized nations.

[I know, I write such things and my own Japanese prejudice is inside the words. I don't care how old is China and I don't care that culture gave so much to mine over time, right now they are barbarian, as much as Japanese military rulers were barbarian in China during last century.]

I also think that chinese goverment is dealing with the very attractive market place for western industry, and this may help people becoming more and more amnesic about ONU charts and all humanitary rights.

I'm not very knowledgeable about what is happening in China actually.

Le Tibet est sous occupation chinoise depuis les années 50 !!!
Il ne s'agit pas que d'une population de moines mais d'une civilisation avec sa propre langue , qui n'a rien a voir avec le chinois, sa propre culture et qui subit un grand massacre !!!
La chine est coupable de crimes contre l humanité, de violations de droits de l'homme et d illigitimité de sa présence sur le territoire tibétain!!!

no no no, don't get worried about that. I think once is intelligent will never make a so low lfe association. chinese gov is not chinese people, most chinese people will live far better without this bunch of crapules.

Going not so bad. I heard the chinese government will take some care to consider the Dalai lama's willing. Maybe this will go toward a pacific resolution.
