Like a Star @ heaven funny!

found this --> On January 31st, 2007, AKB48's fourth single (second under DefSTAR Records) Seifuku ga Jama wo Suru was released; reaching #7 on Oricon charts (their highest rank to date). There has been speculation that the PV and lyrics to this song are an allusion to enjo kosai - volountary underage prostitution - though this has not been confirmed. Their next single, Keibetsu Shiteita Aijou, featured a theme of bullying throughout the lyrics and PV.

Hi Lilian,

That is sorta weird to write have not been confirmed in your quote because we all can see there is an allusion to Enjokosai lifestyle in the video.

Let me tell something: you don't need to have a Ph.D. in philosophy to see that don't needs confirmation, it's evident.

Hello,

Following what I have seen in the previous threads here, I am conciously jumping to the conclusion that the production company representing these girls is knowingly exploiting this adult male fetish. I don't get the fetish myself...but I feel ill that corporate executives are manipulating and exploiting such a man-> girl relationship. This deliberate intent is sick, highly questionable...

no, I don't like what I am seeing. This is a truly nasty underbelly showing itself from a land that openly loves cute. I like cute too, but this is an example of perversion from something good. Yuk! No

Did you notice their costume when dancing in tunnel? they are wearing uniform that looks like messed up, yes? slip is pulled down past hem of skirt and shirt is wrinkled, as if recent personal adventure in futon. If I am in this AKB performance school, I will be embarrassed to show this video to my parents! but I do not know what is public response to all: this song sold many CDs and this PV was popular.

Hello Fumiko and Prisoner,

well I'll be a little bit in the same conclusion and this is not going outside of what I've understood before looking in detail this girl band. it's obvious that managers and artistic directors have been surfing on the exploitation wave, a step not realized yet by Up Front Agency. in this video there are some sceneries that could have been copy&pasted from Bounce Kogal or Love and pop, two of our best references to Enjo kosai in japanese cinema.

we've been watching this video several times and we agree the song is catchy (already in my MP3 player) and girls are pretty too... but, as visible can be a nose in the middle of a face, the fun is missing in the video. this fun level who's so strong in H!P videos, is not present and this is conforting the idea that designed public for this kind of entertainment is not seeking about fun, more about teens panties or worse.

about clothes, skirts are short, ties are pulled, there are panties seen for extra short glimpes and all of this without a smile. serious ambiance, increased by the creepy tunnel and other allusions to the principle of easy Enjo Kosai (cell phone, waiting alone in dark places...). once can say that Biyuden's stage costumes are far more sexier, but as I've said the whole Biyuden package is fun and a little sexy teasing ingredients, which I can say that at this small dose is not harmful at all.

this said, I'll open a dedicated AKB48 topic, to share some stuff about this huge girl congregation, this to not hijack the main purpose of this topic about Lolicon.

A good look at contemporary Japanese art provides an ample example; women are usually drawn with extremely youthful faces (the famous Big Eyes, Small Mouth combination is an example of this), and the plots of numerous manga and anime revolve around young girls who become interested in men who are much older than they (Sailor Moon, for example).

I find this quote in Eve's paper a bit off the Lolicon topic because mangas could never have been so popular with realistic drawings. Every manga are idealised, evry girl character is "big eye small mouth".

normal manga (Love Hina)

normal Sailormoon

normal lolicon (or hentai?)

Hello noisy girls,

well I can say that the lest picture seems rather more situated in hentai domain, which was not hard discovery. on it, you have strong focalisation of private parts and let's say some exageration about the chest. nipples rushing out clothes and tight panties are classical cliches in this domain.

it's possible that hentai overlap Lolicon on some parts, but the blue girl above is an imaginary design of a mature girl, not a teen. and nothing suggests she could be underaged.

about Sailor Moon, one of the first thing I checked when I got the PGSM show was to watch the public and see who were regular fans of Sailor Moon. most of what I've seen were tiny little girls in complete cosplay suit with their two parents. now, if some adults without children went to the show, it remains possible indeed. I think you must be a true fan of Sailor Moon and knowledgeable adout stories to go to these shows, else it's somewhat boring.

Hello,

I've been rambling on some other boards and take the temperature about schoolgirl uniform and I have found that some people this is strongly sexualized and a girl wearing such uniform is potentialy a sexual partner. don't ask me why, that's what I've found.

Ai Mita

Chinami

Miku Kurihara

none of these girls are schoolgirls, but all of these pictures are not innocent. well, let's say that the uniform is for something in the trouble, making many people thinking that all schoolgirls are easy girls to go in bed. we must see that in the japanese context, where almost 70% of the actual schoolgirls are dealing with any form of Enjo kosai. seen outside of Japan, these pictures could be flared down, owing the strong provocative suggestion of some sexual business.

because schoolgirls are teens, I think the Lolicon problematic cames in same time that Enjo kosai bursts out on streets.
