I will definitely take a look at the image when it is back up. Aha, when I posted this, then I could see the picture. The Bride was so non-threatening it was pathetic. I like Uma Thurman's attempt, but she never really gave off or should I say the movie, never gave me that threatened feeling that Uma might die this time or in this fight. Tarantino comes the closest in the Black Mamba/Gogo fight, but...

Sure the Kill Bill was huge and I already wanted to see the 2nd part but I was disapointed as well. So many people telling me this was the film to see and I'm not that violence movie, fan though a good Jackie Chan means lot of fun for me Cool

Too much violence.

Hello Sakura or Good Morning from Philadelphia...
It's 3:50 am here... which means I should be asleep, but... I was looking over some writing. Well... regarding Kill Bill I was disappointed because I have seen better and so I expected better. I felt as though O-Ren was way under cut when it came time for the actual live action acting to be done by Lucy Liu.

She ends up being a total punk in the end and after initially getting the mandatory first hit in... she gets broken pretty easily and then goes down fairly anti-climatic. I just felt he had so much to work with and he only dabbled. My friends have already made it clear that Kill Bill STUNK!

Kill Bill would have been great to me if it was more like Age of Warriors or The Immortal Yi Soon-shin, if it had a point! Chinese Connection with Bruce Lee, had a point. He was tired of seeing his people bullied and he took matters into his own hands and things spun from there, but Kill Bill... it kind of lost its point one minute then had a point, then became pointless and...

I personally still believe that Tarantino just had too much fun with it and got a little carried away and by the time he realized it, he had to wrap it up. I'm currently trying to get my book published that actually starts at the House of Blue Leaves and then really delves into Kill Bill. I think the character of O-Ren and the characters of Gogo and the non-appearing Yuki have so much more to offer then what was shown in the movies and I've been told I've done a good job of writing forward instead of prequeling backwards.

PostSubject: The Saga Continues   Sun 19 Nov - 1:21

I was recently on the IMDB Boards for Kill Bill Volumes One and Two. A growing amount of people have been talking about they could care less about "Prequels to Kill Bill."

I have also been continuing my attempts to get my Kill Bill books published and have found an English College Professor who has expressed a sharp interest not only in the way that I wrote the two books, but in my writing style all together.

People on the IMDB Boards are talking about whether the movie is an insult, should it be in the Top 250, etc. I personally think that the lack of actual character development and the way that the story is told is what has caused the decline of this movies popularity. To talk about Kill Bill off-line, away from the computer, is a very hard thing to do.

Most who are fans will really talk about how great the movie/s are as long as any actual reality or thought is placed on what they are saying, what we were shown and what the movies are saying. The funny part is that even mindless entertainment, pointless entertainment, even makes a point.

I just can't see spending over 70 million dollars to make a pointless or mindless movie and Kill Bill is FARRRRRR from the innocent sheep that some have tried to claim it was, especially when one remembers that both movies are ACTUALLY ONE MOVIE CUT IN HALF.
