I'm proud to expose Akatomie's first song
this song is 100% computerized, I've programmed every event. this mean that I didn't play in realtime on the keyboard, I've only turned the fader knob on my mixing table. eleven chanels were activate for this song, spacious hall effect is from the workstation and digital delay on the harp pattern is from an external VETB (very expensive tiny box BOSS DD-7).
next song will be 100% real time and 0% programming. I just have to practice a little bit more the transitions. will be good next week.
enjoy

Hello best chemistry,
I have only listened to your song on my cheap speakers at work...but from what I hear I love the tone of the synth (very much reminding me of Klause Schulze). Your choice, or composition of percussion is remarkable. It is entirely captivating and downright unique! I have to ask...was this your choice of drum rhythm and sound???...because it is very advanced. Klaus Schulze's album Beyond Recall (1991) introduced a similar approach to rhythm and sound, the song I am thinking of is called Gringo Nero. The predictable chord progressions are puncuated with percussion that comes out of nowhere to add complexity and ambience...it is what you are doing here. You've introduce some great drum tones
There is a nice melody that keeps coming forward, but overall tonal quality is what is grabbing my attention most (other than the fact that it is you). Nice use of repetitive stings to carry the music along too. You have done a great job of showing us all what one person can do with music composition and recording with minimal prior experience. A strong will, a good ear and lots of desire can take you a very long way.
thanks for this. It's a really, really nice first piece.

Wow, best chemistry! this song is very beautiful and inspiration! Rhythm sub-melody complements theme melody very much, in tones and time! Percussions are perfect! I wish I can play this one on some nice sound system such as inside my car, instead of on computer.

Hello,
I've worked like a crazy bith this week end and have finished (or near too have) two new songs.
both are instrumental, one is keyboard, without sequencing and the second one is sequence based with keyboard additions. this one have the name of "The hidden trick" but I've not found a name for the first one yet.
I think if people will listen these two songs, they will find a solid increase of my skills. this is due to the time I've spent on them and my capacitiy to handle my synthy a little bit better than two month ago.
I'll take time to do some finitions and think I can record them next WE.

Hello,
I've removed my first original version but here is the final cut. I've made some efforts to make it more attractive by adding a composite video and some highlights with my masterisation software. Other unusual addition is the presence of one of the most primitive instrument on it. I've bought a Didjeridoo some years later and now being able to do some sounds with it.
I hope you'll like it !

Hello Moonface,
I reply in english because some people here will be interested in the details I will give you. well acutally I don't play in a band, but I now have a good supporting player with me, this is my beloved friend.
I still have tons of stuffs in my head and spending alot of time to concilate my ideas with my poor technique. I have only one year of keyboard behind me, still a beginner. there is some kind frustration because I can't do gorgeous technical lines yet, but there is some increasing capacities tight more in construction or in global composition than in pure instrumental technique. I can live with that some time I think. my technique is indeed increasing but sloooooowly ^^
about band, I think I will try to do some "collabs" before jumping in a band. this is why I'm still searching a singer with a very special voice, as I've already found a beautiful one on Youtube (Mai Zinnia) but she did't reply me about a collab yet. last week I've found another asian singer, 3tinq (from Youtube too), she have a good voice. wait and see. I'm not scared to do some of these collabs, there are thousand of asian people doing as well on internet.
this tiny synth above, the R3 Korg is a vocoder. this machine will help me to compose and add in my songs any vocal lines. I mean that I can prepare the job for a future sweet voice, song will be ready and a prototype will be already recorded. that's fun, truly exciting !
these past months I've been working on a very difficult song, started last september (at the time I prepared to leave my former job). I wasn't in a good mood to be honest, dark feelings, anxiety and morbid sensations. this song was born in a bad period but this my first attempt to produce something in the progressive rock world ! I'm not heartly connected with drums and electric guitar, but earlier, Prisoner701 from this forum told me about the possibility to use electric guitar with a keybord and this was not felt in a deaf ear because I've succeded to put some lines in this song. the only thing who is not going as well as expected is the drum/percussion lines, they need to be improved a little bit, but the song is now at his last construction stage (about 6 minutes duration, four parts). name will be Gekido-hime (the princess of rage), as a true fan of Keiko Kumagai, I could find a better name.
